This picturesque and tranquil caravan park is located in the grounds of a magnificent stately home. With idyllic woodland walks and formal lakeside gardens, Capesthorne is a wonderful place to relax and get away from it all.
Capesthorne Hall is situated on the edge of the Peak District national park, close to Alderley Edge, which is shrouded by legends and history. The market towns of Congleton, Macclesfield and Knutsford are only a short distance away, as are local attractions such as Jodrell Bank and Tatton Park.
The site has 50 pitches all with electric hook up, 30 of which have hard standing. A modern, Eco-friendly shower block has disabled facilities and a laundry room.
Limited WiFi available.
You are welcome to view the formal gardens at no extra cost between the hours of 8am and 7pm. Access, however, may be restricted when weddings or events are taking place – please ask at the time of booking.
The Hall opens to the general public on Sundays and Mondays, April to October from 1:30pm to 4pm with the last admission at 3:30pm. There is a discounted admission to the Hall for caravanners of £3 per adult and £1 for children (5-16 years), payable at the Hall entrance on display of permit.
‘I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed staying on your caravan park last night. It was so lovely to be able to stroll around the gardens and woodland, right up until 7pm. Everyone we met was so pleasant and helpful. And the shower/toilet facilities were outstanding. Thanks again.’ – 15 June 2017
‘Beautiful surroundings . . . so pleased we came.’ – 12 July 2017
