Special tours of historic Capesthorne Hall can be booked in advance for groups of between 25 and 50
@ £6.50 per head which includes admission to the Hall, Gardens and family Chapel. Special lunch packages - including cooked meals, as well as cream teas and afternoon tea - can be booked in advance through the Hall Manager.

Cheshire's Year of Gardens '08
Capesthorne Hall has been chosen to take part in Cheshire's Year of Gardens '08, a year long festival, will celebrate the rich heritage of the gardens and green environment in Cheshire. The programme will comprise of a wide range of cultural, artistic, musical and garden based events and activities throughout the county to link closely with Liverpool Capital of Culture '08.

BLUEBELL FESTIVAL in conjunction with Cheshire Wildlife Trust

Capesthorne is happy to be part of the Bluebell Recovery Project throughout The Mersey Forest and Cheshire. For the past 10 years, this project has been surveying and monitoring the locations of our native English, Spanish and hybrid bluebells. For further details about this project please visit: www.cheshire-biodiversity.org.uk.
In late April and mid May the six acre Woodland Walk is a carpet of blue and the delicate perfume lingers in the air. The Bluebell Walk is clearly marked and can be enjoyed as an addition to our other garden features such as the Force Waterfall, the Ice House & Swallow Hole, Herbaceous borders, Milanese Gates and Chapel. Free of charge Sunday 11th May 2008 (Normal admission prices apply all other dates)

CHRISTMAS AT CAPESTHORNE 2007 WITH CRAFTS
An opportunity to visit the hall during the normally closed Christmas period. A visit allows a glimpse through the doors of a family-owned stately home decorated for Christmas. During your walk around the house you will be entertained by local musicians, bell ringers, and school choirs, and a special visit from Santa. After pausing to listen to the music the tour takes you upstairs through the house then down into the basement where there is an opportunity to visit craft stalls. There are more crafts to be seen outside and across the courtyard in another part of the house. Mulled wine and mince pies are on sale in the refreshment marquee.
Tickets available on gate Adults £7.00 Children £3.50 (under 4 free) Discount available for groups of 10 or more adults.
