Bridal Beauty Countdown Part 2
This is the second in my series of blogs to guide you in the 12 months before your wedding day. . .
It’s extremely important to look after your health and well-being at this time, the wedding is getting closer, and you may find yourself feeling stressed and under pressure. Make sure you are eating a healthy diet, and taking some time out every day for yourself to relax. Getting plenty of sleep is also highly recommended!
If you are feeling stressed, you could explore mindfulness to help you deal with this. Regular meditation practice and breathing techniques can be very effective in reducing anxiety. There some very good meditation apps available to download. Another lovely way to relax and share the excitement is to book a spa day for yourself and your bridal party.
Accept offers of help from your close friends and family with wedding arrangements, this will take some of the pressure from you, but you will still be in overall control of your wedding plans.
If you are planning to have a spray tan for your wedding, have a trial run now – This will avoid any tanning disasters which could ruin your big day! Take a photo of your wedding dress along to your appointment so the therapist knows which areas to concentrate on. Never have your fake tan applied the day before your wedding as the colour could end up on your dress.
Make sure you keep up with your skincare routine, use your favourite tried and tested products, it’s best not to introduce anything new in case your skin is sensitive to it. Now is the ideal time to have a deep cleansing facial, and plan another treatment every four weeks up to the wedding .
