Bridal Jumpsuits
Not every bride wants to wear a dress. Lots of celebrities have opted for something different on their wedding day. Solange Knowles wore a jumpsuit. Olivia Palermo wore a three-piece short combination which was super playful and stylish. And if they don’t convince you to think outside the dress, Amal Clooney wore one to her Venice civil ceremony.
Trouser suits or jumpsuits are perfect for the Boho bride or for civil ceremonies. They’re an alternate style, perfect for the rebel and full of attitude for the sassy bride.
Ronald Joyce is fast becoming one of my favourite designers. This jumpsuit is elegant and classic while being so modern it hurts. The long coat gives the feel of a dress with a train and the lace sleeves give the whole look a feminine feel.

This Joanna August design is perfect for the summer Boho bride. It’s playful and chic. You’ll have freedom to move and pack one hell of a punch when you walk down the aisle.

This hand embroidered tulle skirt over crepé skinny trousers from Francesca Miranda brings together so many on trend elements making it the perfect combination for the fashion forward bride. The tulle skirt has a floral design while the trousers elevate the look to the next level.

How much do I love this suit? It’s feminine and overloaded with attitude. It screams independent bride and guarantees your outfit will be a talking point for all the right reasons for years to come.

We’ve seen this before for the nudes the bridesmaids are wearing but I’m revisiting for the bride’s outfit because it deserves a second look. The jumpsuit is relaxed and chic, a simple statement that needs no embellishment. It’s ultra-modern and completely gorgeous.

This is an outfit for the bride who doesn’t follow the rules. You’re not going to conform to convention. You have your style and you’re going to rock it. The hat makes this look. A rebel’s alternative to a veil.

This suit comes with a cape as a train. The clean lines and plunging neckline really complement those of us blessed with an hour glass figure. Could anything be chicer for a modern wedding?

I’ve saved this for last because it’s my personal favourite. A trouser suit. If men can wear kilts to weddings, women can wear a suit. In particular, I love the gold design on her top which is subtle but ties the outfit together.
