Autumn Hair Garlands

‘Tis the season to embrace the bountiful nature around us; its colours, textures and life in bloom. What better way to do that than to factor a hair garland into your Autumn wedding? Now you could do this in a subtle, understated way. But with the most incredible flowers in season it would be a waste not to make the most of them.

Here are 3 ways to embrace the hair garland for your Autumn Wedding…

Big and Beautiful

Go big and wild and, like we say, take advantage of the variety of flowers available to you such as anemones, thistle, astrantia, myrtle, ivy, snowberries … the more colourful and textured the better. This takes a lot of pressure out of the hair-do decision-making as you can let you locks flow and the garland will do the rest.

Silk

If you’re anxious about the preservation of a real flower garland and prefer something you can adjust to work for you, then silk flowers are the route for you. Being artificial, you get a great scope of shapes and colours for your creative vision. We recommend Laura Donovan Bridal Accessories in Cheshire for silk flower hair creations.

Hair Piece

Finally, if you’re dubious about a full flower crown, the hair piece is the way forward for you. You can afford to be really bold in your flower choices otherwise the piece gets missed. Make a statement with large red roses, orange dahlias or even blackberries. The Potting Shed are one of our favourite florists and are a dab hand at hair garlands and hair pieces.
