Location of Capesthorne Hall

When choosing where to have your wedding, there are lots of things to consider, not just cost and appearance, but also location.  You want somewhere easily accessible for your guests, but that’s also close to other sites to enhance your wedding experience.

The location of Capesthorne Hall is ideal. It is a stunning wedding venue with amazing views of the Cheshire countryside, set close to great transport links and tourist attractions to visit on your first day as a married couple.

For any guest who doesn’t want to use their car, or is coming from abroad, we’re 20 minutes away from Manchester Airport and 15 minutes away from Macclesfield train station.

And for anyone those close enough to use their car, we’re just off the A34 which is a major road through Cheshire.

All this means, for a relatively short journey, you can escape urban locations for a prestigious country hall as the venue for your wedding. You don’t get views like this in Manchester.

Getting around to seeing everyone you’ve invited to your wedding can be really difficult on the day. Many couples are having after-parties so they can see family and friends who they might have missed on the day or who have travelled a long way to be there. We also have some enchanting accommodation for you and your guests to stay in.

The other great thing about having your wedding with us is our proximity to other beautiful locations to visit once you’ve checked out with us.

The most prominent, and perhaps the closest, is Jodrell Bank, the world-famous radio observatory, and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For anyone interested in space and astrology this is a must-see attraction.

If you have children, then you might consider heading over to The Blue Planet Aquarium at Cheshire Oaks as a special family only event. This would be a great way to help your children come down from the high of the wedding in a staged way, as well as making them feel special.

We’re also within easy reach of the Peak District which has breath-taking walks and cycle routes. You could also treat yourself to a mini-moon before your proper honeymoon in the Peak District with its stunning views and dramatic landscapes. Or even just for a great walk to clear your head after the partying the night before.

My family and I love going over  to Bakewell. After your wedding, you could head over to have some traditional Bakewell Puddings (not Bakewell Tarts, they’re a totally different sweet treat) with any loved one who have made a long journey to be with you as a thank you for making the effort.

With the many open spaces, National Trust Parks and forests like Delamere and Macclesfield forest, or our fabulous shopping centres like The Trafford Centre and Cheshire Oaks, Capesthorne Hall is a central location for many other great attractions as well as offering you amazing views for your wedding.
