Outdoor Weddings
As the weather gets warmer, the idea of an outdoor wedding starts to have more appeal. After all, we live in a beautiful part of the world with access to amazing green spaces. Why wouldn’t we take advantage of that?
Recently, along with all the work we’ve had done on our South Tower cottage giving you the opportunity to stay before and after your wedding, we’ve also had our woodland licenced to conduct civil ceremonies.
This means you can have your entire day here at Capesthorne Hall. You can come the night before with your bridesmaids, have your make-up artist work their magic in the morning, then walk across the grounds to have your ceremony. That is the epitome of stress-free.
There are three locations you can use for your outdoor ceremony.
The first is the front courtyard right outside the hall itself. The Jacobean style front will give your wedding maximum grandeur. This is the perfect spot for a formal wedding, and afterwards, you can head to the Queen Anne room for your wedding breakfast and reception or the more informal Lakeside Wing.
The second is the Lakeside Gazebo for a more contemporary wedding. This location overlooks the stunning lake with it’s water fowl and bird life.
The third is a more secluded spot, the recently licenced Woodland Dome. This area is in the trees surrounding the grounds and, depending on the time of year, you could be married on a carpet of bluebells. This enchanting location elevates your ceremony to something spectacular, a romantic location for a fairy tale wedding.
Of course, after your service, you have the choice of rooms for your breakfast and reception. The Queen Anne room is perfect for formal weddings as I’ve already mentioned, and the Lakeside Terrace is stylish and chic for modern weddings with neutral colours.
You could even use marquees on the lawn to have a completely outdoor wedding. Capesthorne Hall is incredibly versatile, so you get the wedding of your dreams, making it the perfect location for a high-impact Cheshire wedding.
