Reopening for Viewings
Great news. It’s been announced that weddings of up to 30 people can now take place in places of worship and approved premises and we’re reopening for viewings.
It’s the first step on our road back to normality and, while it’s not a complete restart of weddings as we know them, we’re preparing measures for our luxury Cheshire wedding venue to comply with current safety guidelines.
Here is a list of everything we’re implementing, so when further restrictions are lifted we are ready to go for viewings and, ultimately, events.
The first measure is that we will only allow pre-booked viewings. Because of the cleaning we need to do between each viewing, toilets and door handles, we can’t let couples around unannounced unfortunately. The best thing to do is give us a call and we’ll arrange a time that’s good for everyone.
The next measure is that we are only letting in couples who are from the same household. The government guideline is still that only two households can meet inside. We understand that does mean some couples won’t be able to view our hall yet, but in this ever-changing world we’re living in, this could alter in the coming months.
When you arrive, we ask you to wait in your car until we call you at the pre-arranged time so there is minimal interaction with other people who might be on site, like other viewing couples and staff.
We have also put a hygiene station at the entrance to the Hall for staff as well as visitors. We will ask you to wear disposable gloves and a face mask which we can provide, but you are more than welcome to bring your own if you want. Despite the PPE we will ensure the viewing is as friendly and relaxed as possible.
Despite the restrictions on numbers and the safety measures in place, we’re still able to do a full tour which will cover the Hall, the Lakeside, the formal gardens and the overnight accommodation including the Lakeside Village, so you’ll still be able to see everything.
Our Lakeside Marquee is spacious and so perfect for social distancing measures. While we can answer questions on the way round, we would ask for any detailed discussions about your plans and ideas until we’re in the Marquee where we can comfortably observe social distancing measures. Your safety and comfort is our utmost priority.
At the moment, these are only the measures for viewings, but it is a start. If you want to look around the Hall, give us a call on 01625 861 221 so we can book you in. We can’t wait to welcome you again!
