Staying at Capesthorne Hall
Over the last twelve months, we have undertaken lots of work to elevate the experience of our couples to enhance our position as one of the premier luxury wedding venues in Cheshire.
There isn’t a great deal we can do to the Hall itself, and with all that history why would we want to? But we have created onsite accommodation for our couples and their main wedding party which are in keeping with their surroundings.
South Tower Cottage
To the left of the Hall as you come down the drive, it our beautiful South Tower Cottage. It stands at the entrance to our formal gardens, nestled among trees and has its own private garden and patio area.
In 2018, the three-storey cottage was refurbished to a very high standard. With enough beds for up to four people, you can stay the night before your wedding with your bridesmaids, on the night of your wedding as a newly married couple, or both. We also have two futon beds that can be set up on the ground floor if you have a larger bridal party.
On the top floor is a king-sized bed with a large modern en-suite with a double shower, separate roll top bath and w.c. The first floor has a bedroom with twin beds and a separate shower room.
The ground floor is all living space with a fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher and cooker, a dining room and living room. Perfect for an intimate start to your married life.
Lakeside Village
Behind the Lakeside Terrace is our new village which includes six lodges and the Lakeside Cottage.
Lakeside Cottage is a two-storey cottage which can sleep up to four people plus two on sofa bed. There is a master bedroom on the ground floor with an en-suite bathroom, separate shower room, lounge area and fully fitted kitchen. The second bedroom in on the next floor with twin beds for any guests you might want to have with you.
The lodges are fitted for two guests with king-sized beds, shower room and comfy lounge area. They are also teched out to a high standard with WiFi, flat screen TV and integrated blue tooth music system.
The best part about this village is the communal nature. The Potting Shed is a kitchen and dining area for guests to meet and relax pre- or post-wedding to enjoy the stunning views of our rural location on the terrace overlooking the lake.
Whether the Lakeside Village or South Tower Cottage takes your fancy, all accommodation comes with on-site parking and access to our private gardens. And they are also available for hire if you want to come back to us for your anniversary. Complete wrap-around wedding care.
