Staying at Capesthorne
Until recently, you could have your wedding at Capesthorne Hall but at the end of the night you needed transport to take you home. But that has all changed.
Today’s blog covers South Tower cottage, adjacent to the Hall, but look out for a later blog on our Lakeside Village.
South Tower cottage has undergone extensive refurbishment, making it a luxurious place for you to stay for your wedding. The length of your stay is entirely up to you. You could use it the night before your wedding for yourself and your bridesmaids or you could have it as a wedding suite for your first night together as husband and wife. Or why not have it for both.
There are so many advantages to having these rooms available to you. Should you choose to use them for both nights, all your things are already on site, so you don’t have to worry about moving your belongings around.
You can use the rooms for preparation the morning of your wedding. Your make-up artist and hairdresser will have loads of space and light to do your hair and makeup.
And there is a fully fitted kitchen, so you don’t need to stint on cups of tea, or bubbly, while you’re getting ready. You can make any meals you need while you’re staying over and there’s a dishwasher, so you don’t need to wash up.
There is plenty of space for four people (or six with the addition of futon beds) . On the top floor there is a king size bed and en suite with a free-standing bath and double shower.
The first floor has a twin room plus main bathroom and the ground floor has a lounge and dining room.
Capesthorne Hall is a beautiful location and the rooms in South Tower look out over the stunning lake and formal gardens. In addition, there is a private garden at the cottage, with outdoor seating, for you to relax in the tranquil setting with a glass of wine. Perfect.
