Wedding Balloons

Balloons at weddings are totally trending right now and so we thought we would jump on the bandwagon and research the best ways to incorporate balloons into your wedding day.

If you need convincing as to why this is such a great idea, they are inexpensive, eclectic, dreamy and the options are endless. Here are our Top 6 Balloon Decoration ideas…

Archways

Let’s start with the most fiddly… You’ll need all hands on deck creating this one, but the finished result is so worth it. Whether you choose to use this as a decorative feature or as your ceremony altar, we recommend doing a test run first. Keep your balloons varied in size and colour for a really dramatic effect. Here is a great How To for your balloon archway.

Ceremony

This is so simple yet so elegant and effective. White helium filled balloons look ethereal whilst multi-coloured large balloons (or paper lanterns) are vibrant and playful. Tie your balloons to chairs or weight down surrounding the altar.

Dessert Table

Make your dessert table extra decadent with a collection of deliciously coloured balloons. No boring cake displays with this idea!

Photo Props

Balloons are just great fun to incorporate into photographs. Large, tasselled balloons make for edgy couple shots and we love the idea of a balloon collection attached to the getaway car!

Table Centrepieces

Again, this is such a straightforward yet creative idea and aesthetically makes a great impact on a large scale. You could write your table names on your balloons before you fill them, or coordinate your guests to the colour of their table’s balloon.

Balloon Wall or Ceiling

Last but not least, who would’ve thought that a blanket of balloons would look so great?! It serves no purpose whatsoever except to impress your guests…and why not?!
