Wedding Open Day

Due to the restrictions on people gathering during 2020, and the widespread cancellations of wedding fairs, here at Capesthorne Hall we have adapted to give you the next best thing; an appointment only Open Day.

Upon arrival, a member of our wedding team will take you on a personal tour of the Hall, allowing you to imagine what your wedding will be like in our luxurious historical setting.

Julie from the White Room is joining us on the day. She will dress the Hall and the Lakeside Terrace in different styles for a wedding to give you some inspiration for your big day. Julie has worked in the floral industry for years and is an artist with silk flowers as well as real ones.

She is a regular at our usual fairs and has done many weddings with us, so she knows exactly how to complement the Hall for maximum impact.

We have had to make some allowances for the current situation. Along with the usual measures such as hand sanitiser and disposable masks, there are a couple more things we’d like you to be aware of. Viewings are by appointment only as I’ve already said, so please don’t turn up on the day without one.

Also, because of the rules around households mixing, we are only limiting the booked viewings to two people from the same household or bubble. So, if you’d like your parents’ opinion they should book their own slot.

We appreciate that these measures will make it a different experience to the one we’re used to but they are in place for your safety as well as ours. And viewing spaces are limited because we need to clean in-between visits. So, get in touch now, or you could miss out on this unique opportunity of a private viewing of the Hall dressed for a wedding.
