Wedding Service Music
Choosing music for your wedding ceremony can be difficult. On top of everything else you’re organising you must pick the right sort of music to make your day memorable. Well, fear not. Just follow the links below to Spotify where I’ve put some wedding tracks together for you to listen to.
While people are waiting for you to arrive, this is your opportunity to set the tone by playing some music. Plan for about twenty minutes and pick some reflective classical music or sound tracks to your favourite film. Just check with the venue they have the facilities to play them!

Of course, you don’t have to choose any of these. An acoustic version of your favourite love song would work just as well and have more significance for you.
If you’re regular church goers, you might have one or two hymns picked out. Factors to consider include the number of guests at the service and how many are church goers (you don’t want a silent church because no one knows the words), and whether you’re having a choir, band or just the congregation singing.

There is no set number of songs you must have. You could just have music as you come in and out. If you’re unsure, have a word with the person conducting the ceremony. If that doesn’t help, plan for at least two, one before the ceremony and one after the exchange of the rings.
Register
This is another opportunity for you to get some tracks played and your guests will thank you for it. While you’re signing the register, more hymns could be played, or you could go back to acoustic contemporary love songs, something to fill the gap between the service and leaving the church.
Go big is my motto here. You’ve done it, you’re married. Let everyone know. These are some pieces you might want to consider.
