It has been good to see so many beautiful weddings here at Capesthorne Hall during 2021. Now we take a look ahead to what may be in store for 2022, as we all continue to negotiate our way through the pandemic.

Social Distancing and Safety

The safety and well-being of our guests is of course our top priority, we will continue to follow the official guidelines regarding the wearing of masks , sanitising stations , and the overall safety of the wedding party at all our events.

Outdoor Weddings

We predict that outdoor weddings will continue to be a growing trend in 2022.

We are fortunate to have the most beautiful gardens and woodland , which can be transformed into a stunning outdoor wedding venue. Gathering in a large open space will allow your guests to relax and enjoy themselves. You will have the option of an outdoor drinks reception following your ceremony, where family and friends who perhaps haven’t seen each other for a while can mingle safely and enjoy the celebrations.

Weekday Weddings

Venue availability is bound to be a  factor in 2022, with so many weddings postponed , couples are opting for a weekday wedding, as many weekend dates are fully booked .

There are advantages to this, as your chosen suppliers , florists and photographers are more likely to be available during the week .

You may have more choice on the timing of your ceremony, and you could perhaps choose a date with a special meaning for you both without worrying whether it falls on a Saturday.

Supporting Local Wedding Businesses

The pandemic has hit many businesses hard in the wedding industry, including all the small local suppliers such as  florists,  cake makers,  and venue dressers.

Couples are choosing to support these small local businesses more than ever when planning their wedding, and we are only too happy to help with recommendations.
