Winter Wedding Cakes
Winter Wedding Cakes
If you are planning a winter wedding, why not add some winter touches to your wedding cake, rustic pine cones, winter berries, or perhaps some edible icicles!
Winter Cake Flavours
The best place to start is to choose your cake flavour, arrange a meeting with your cake baker for a tasting to discuss your requirements.
Flavours like salted caramel, red velvet, chocolate, and spiced apple are delicious for a winter wedding cake.
If you are finding it difficult to decide, why not arrange for your cake baker to make a selection of flavoured tiers.

When To Cut Your Wedding Cake
The cutting of the cake is usually the last formal moment of the day, after the speeches. At this point the toastmaster or the best man will announce the cutting of the cake.
The bride with the groom’s right hand over hers, uses the cake knife to slice a small piece from the bottom tier.
The cake is then taken away to be sliced before being offered to each guest.
Have some pretty cake boxes available for guests who wish to take their slices home.
