Bring the children along to explore our wonderful Woodland Trail.

The children will be given a free map of our woodland walk and have to seek out hidden images placed along the trail which they write down on an answer sheet. This is a lovely walk which helps to develop their orienteering and observational skills as well as being a great place to run around and explore. Along the way they can delight in the discovery of the family Chapel, stunning lakes, swallow hole, cascading stream and Ice House. Look out for the vast array of wildlife, birds, insects and mini-beasts as you go along the trail.

There’s also a small prize, once completed, from the Butler’s Pantry Coffee Shop!

All completed answer sheets are also entered into a prize draw to win a family ticket to Capesthorne Hall.

The Woodland Trail is open on Sundays, Mondays and Bank Holidays from March to October (except on special event days). The grounds open at midday and close at 5:00pm. Normal visitor charges apply.
