Nature Quest

February 18th @ 10:00 am - February 26th @ 4:00 pm

Hedgehog Hunt

Do you love nature? Are you a keen explorer? Want to be a vet? Have a dream to be an animal scientist? Or just love animals?

We have the perfect quest for you!

Hidden around the grounds of Capesthorne Hall are 10 Hedgehogs. It is your job to find them and see what task they have for you to complete. Some of the tasks can’t be done straight away so make a note of these and you can test them out later on your Half Term Holiday!

Hedgehog number 10 also needs you help! He has bumped his head and can’t remember his name… so he needs a new one. It’s down to you to think of a new name.

Once you have got one, make sure to head to the Lakeside Café where you can write down your hedgehog name with your own name and address. Put this in the ‘naming box’ and then a winner will be picked at random at the end of the week. This will be the winning name for our star hedgehog!

The winner will receive a prize in the post!

Normal garden entry fees apply – See website for prices – www.capesthorne.com/hall-and-gardens/visitor-information

Under 5’s go FREE

Nature Crafts

This week we have 3 crafts on offer, all of which are inspired by nature and the outdoors.

The crafts are different from each other and are suitable for the ages of 3-12, they are:

Fuzzy Bug Magnets – £1.50

Wooden Bird Decorating – £2.50

Mini Beast Stones – £2

Each craft will be a small additional fee, or for a special price of £5 you can do all 3!

While February Half Term can often be very on-off with the sun and rain, the crafts create the perfect indoor opportunity for either shelter or a rest before carrying on with the Hedgehog Hunt.

The Lakeside Café will be open serving hot and cold food.
