We are delighted to welcome the Handlebards Theatre Troupe to Capesthorne Hall on 11th August 2017 with their rip-roaring bicycle-powered all-male production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by James Farrell. About Handlebards

We are four-strong troupes of cycling actors who carry with us on our bicycles all of the necessary set, props and costume to perform extremely energetic, charmingly chaotic and environmentally sustainable Shakespeare plays across the globe.

We specialise in outdoor theatre, as we love performing in the open air, but really, we’re happy performing almost anywhere.
