The Hall and Gardens are open on Sundays & Mondays
Please note, from 28th September until the end of October there will be restricted access to the gardens and woodland walk due to an event setup.
In addition to our normal Open Days the Hall and Gardens will now also be open on Saturday 4th and Tuesday 7th October.
Normal Opening Times 2025
THE HALL AND GARDENS ARE ONLY OPEN SUNDAYS, MONDAYS AND BANK HOLIDAYS (April to end of October).
The Gardens open from 12:00pm – 5:00pm (last entry 3:00pm)
The Hall opens from 12:30pm – 3:30pm (last entry 3:00pm)
Lakeside Café opens from 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Car park and Gardens close 5:00pm

The Hall Entry Pricing
£4.00 – Adults
£1.00 – Children (5-16 yrs) (children under 5 go free)
£8.00 – Family Ticket (2 x adults and 2 x children)
FOC – Carers accompanying a disabled visitor (Proof required to be shown on entry)
FOC – Historic Houses Members (HH membership card to be shown on entry)
Garden Entry is free of charge to all visitors
(Please note the Gardens can only be visited on our Open Days)
Parking charge per vehicle of £2.00 (pre-booked coaches, wedding and corporate event guests are excluded from parking charges).
Dogs are welcome at Capesthorne and are allowed on all areas except the lawned gardens. They must be kept on a lead at all times due to local livestock and in consideration of other guests. Please note, dogs are not permitted in the Hall or Chapel (with the exception of assistance dogs).
Some areas are unsuitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs due to uneven ground on the Woodland Walk, Wilderness Trail and the narrow pathway around the lower pool.
