Following government advice on non-essential travel to reduce the spread of Covid-19, the Hall and Gardens are now closed until further notice.
We will review and update as necessary on an ongoing basis and look forward to welcoming visitors back to Capesthorne Hall when safe to do so.
OPENING TIMES 2020
Open Season – Sunday 5th April 2020 to Monday 26th October 2020.
We are open on Sundays, Mondays and Bank Holidays only (including Good Friday) with the exception of Special Event Days*.
Gardens and Chapel open 12 noon until 5pm
Hall Open 1:30pm to 4pm with last admission at 3:30pm
Lakeside Café open 12 noon until 4:30pm
Please note, the Hall will be closed on the following dates due to an event – 27th/28th September 2020.

Delicious home made refreshments available in the Lakeside Café.
Parties of any number are welcome on the usual open days. On non-open days special tours of historic Capesthorne Hall can be booked in advance for groups of 40 or more which includes admission to the Hall, Gardens and family Chapel. Catering packages can be booked in advance through the Hall Manager 01625 861221.
There is ample parking.
Designated parking bays are available, signposted from main car park. Access to the gardens and grounds is by gravel paths, manual wheelchair users may need assistance. Some areas may not be suitable for motability scooters. Access to the Hall is via a ramp at the rear of the Hall and is restricted to the ground floor only. Disabled toilet facilities are available adjacent to the Lakeside Café, access is best through the courtyard (as there is a steep slope from the grounds). Assistance dogs are welcome.
